Santa Barbara

I know I haven't posted in a couple of months, but to be quite honest friends I don't feel my life is all that exciting to tell anyone about. But we took a little weekend get-away so I thought "that's a little something out of the ordinary!" Living in a desert climate it pretty much feels like summer all year, until it actually IS summer and then it just feels like the surface of the Sun. Well "summer" is officially here, and we have triple digits to prove it.

So we escaped from our toasty 110 degree weather to Santa Barbara for the weekend to visit Ty's sister Melanie for her birthday It was such a great visit, good weather, good food, and great company. It was so nice to see Melanie, she lives is such a beautiful house that I'm kicking myself I didn't get pictures of (Oprah lives down the road.....seriously) and we were able to finally get back to the beach with Beckahm. My only complaint is that it went by too fast, and I wish we didn't live so
far away from her so we could visit more often! :)
