As your second birthday has come and gone I find myself wanting to remember everything about this fun stage that you're in. I don't think we could have asked for a better baby to break us into this parenting business. From day one, you were a good sleeper, eater, and easy going. To be honest, it makes me nervous to have a second child, because I'm not sure we'll be so fortunate the next time around. You're loving, happy and ALL boy. Constantly making truck sounds, throwing balls, and asking for your cars.
I'm awestruck daily by the things you know like counting to 20, knowing your colors, shapes and alphabet. How did you learn all that?! You say funny phrases like, "Here it comes, there it goes, " "Good job" "Don't want it," and of course "Mine!" and "No" (the latter aren't as endearing. :) You still prefer Dad over me, but my stock is improving. Right now you're obsessed with trash trucks, and could eat yogurt all day, every day if I let you. I recognize the "Terrible Two's" are around the corner, but hope a little piece of my sweet, easy going boy will remain. You've made us better little man, we love you and feel lucky to have you a part of our family.
